Janáček Theatre in Brno
We delivered 12 air-handling units with a source of cold system with a total cooling capacity of about 600 kW for reconstruction of the Janáček Theatre in Brno. As this reconstruction included a confined area in the air-handling plant, the project designer required the dimensions of air-handling units to be compact as possible while still complying with the Ecodesign legislation requirements. Therefore, rotary heat-exchangers for heat recovery were used, and where this was not possible a system of highly efficient glycol heat-exchangers was used instead. Due to the limited power supply, adiabatic humidifiers were used to ensure humidification. To reduce power consumption, we used adiabatic cooling situated in the outlet and pre-cooling of the inlet air using regeneration heat-exchangers. In addition to the products mentioned above, we also delivered other air-handling units and fans for ventilation of escape routes.
