Regional Hospital Zlín - Digestive Endoscopy Center

The Digestive Endoscopy Center at the T. Bati Regional Hospital (KNTB) in Zlín provides top-notch diagnostic and therapeutic care in the field of digestive tract diseases. This accredited workplace offers a wide range of examinations, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endosonography and ERCP. It also specializes in biological treatment of non-specific intestinal inflammation and functions as a center for colorectal cancer screening. The construction of a new modern digestive endoscopy center began in 2024. The new premises are equipped with the most modern X-ray equipment, a recovery room and a larger number of examination rooms, which will allow for an expansion of the spectrum of endoscopic procedures. These premises are air-conditioned by two REMAK air conditioning units. One serves to ventilate the changing rooms and social facilities, the other serves the examination rooms and other spaces, the technical interest of this unit is its division into two zones. Thanks to this division, the device is more space- and investment-efficient, the unit is in a hygienic design with internal antimicrobial varnish, the zone of the unit intended for examination rooms contains a three-stage filtration ending with an absolute filter in filtration class H13.
