Remak a.s. - a new eco-friendly investment

In connection with the current challenging energy situation as well as with the efforts to mitigate the environmental impact of relatively high electricity consumption, Remak a.s. has decided to invest significantly by installing two photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of its production halls.

This is currently the largest installation of its kind in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, with a total installed capacity of 577 kWp. This capacity will cover a significant portion of Remak's electricity consumption, and any excess energy generated will contribute to the electricity consumption in the adjacent industrial area. The planned launch date for the power plants is November 2023.

The project is being financially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the local company Solartec has been trusted with with the installation and commissioning.
